I recently had the opportunity to photograph Our Third Place’s Our Smile Social, a women’s wellness event sponsored by Invisalign and hosted at Maxwell Social in Tribeca.

The evening brought together women for candid conversations around health, wellness, confidence, and the many transitions women experience throughout life. The atmosphere balanced thoughtful discussion with genuine connection in a space that felt warm, welcoming, and deeply personal.

Women’s Wellness Through Community

The event featured conversations and activations centered around:

oral health and wellness
postpartum mental health
egg freezing and fertility conversations
navigating health while traveling
mental health during life transitions
Invisalign oral health scanning

Throughout the evening, attendees gathered in intimate discussion groups, listened to expert insights, and connected with one another in a setting designed to encourage openness and conversation.

Editorial Event Photography with a Documentary Feel

For this event, my focus was on creating imagery that felt natural, editorial, and emotionally grounded rather than overly posed or corporate.

The goal was to document:
